Current project: LITUS MARIS

Between the lines of analogue, moment and time breathe slow — and for me, the strongest emotions are evoked where the sea, the land, people, and creativity converge.

Litus Maris symbolizes not just the literal coastline, but the boundary between worlds — the place of some kind of transformation of pace. It represents the space where life moves from one form to another, where transitions occur, whether through the tides of the ocean or the rugged edges of the mountains, looking out at sea. Some find in these places a timeless sanctuary, others wrestle with their isolation, their fragility, their slow demands. Yet all are united by a longing for a timing more aligned with nature.

This project is not just a collection of images, but an homage: a glimpse into spaces where nature shapes not only landscapes but lives. Across various places, I have sought out places where creativity, regeneration, and belonging intertwine. For me, each project exists at the litus maris, the shore where land and sea meet, constantly reshaped by the forces of nature, creativity, and community. When life slows down - community often emerges.

In many ways, this project is also about how to create your own future via reflection, action, introspection, and sharing — navigating the spaces between past, present, and future. It’s a way of stepping into new experiences, drawing closer to the unknown, and meeting the people and ideas that shape you. It’s about the connections — whether they are with new or old friends, all through the shared bond of creativity and nature. This is not just a documentation of spaces or initiatives — but of the invisible forces that draw people to them: dreams, doubts, resilience, and hope. Through the slowness and alchemy of analogue photography, I align with a more natural pace, and I search for the pulse within each place — an energy that calls to those who know how to listen.

More than anything, this project is a love letter to that force, to the litus maris itself — the threshold, the place where change happens and unites strong natural forces. It’s a tribute to those who have answered the call, shaping their lives and their art across these elements, and to how I, too, am answering that call in my own way.
